Our school entered the Men’s Foil Team event as the No. 3 seed and faced the Royal Thai Air Force Fencing Team, with home advantage in the quarter-finals.
The first two bouts were led by team captain Clement and vice-captain Jayden, who dominated proceedings and sealed both victories in just two minutes without conceding a point. The baton was then passed to newcomers Summer and Sam, who performed steadily and gradually extended the lead. After nine bouts, UCCKE defeated the Royal Thai Air Force 45:13 to advance to the semi-finals and secure a medal.
The team eventually finished third after a narrow defeat in the semi-finals. Congratulations!
