To accommodate the diverse learning needs and aspirations of our students, we introduced the Non-Local Curriculum (NLC) in September 2019, providing an additional pathway for our Secondary Five and Six cohorts. The NLC offers an alternative curriculum, enabling students in S.5 and S.6 to delve deeper into elective subjects that align with their interests and future academic goals. Initially launched with a focus on science, the curriculum has since expanded to include business and humanities subjects for the fifth and subsequent cohorts. It is encouraging to witness not only the growth of the NLC stream but also the way it has unlocked our students’ academic potential and strengths.
Students are required to sit for Edexcel International Advanced Levels (IAL) examinations for these subjects. They can choose 3 or 4 IAL subjects.
