Dormitory Life

Since 2009, all S.1 students have taken part in a structured semi-boarding program. Boarders leave the dormitory after school on Friday and return on Sunday or the last day of holidays. When spaces are available, S.2–S.6 students may also apply to live in the dorm.

Rooted in our holistic Christian education, boarding life functions as a purposeful curriculum. Daily routines, mentorship, and multi-functional activities build self-discipline, independence, and strong study habits. Caring dorm parents and staff provide pastoral care and create opportunities to nurture students’ faith through reflection, fellowship, and service.

Community life is vibrant and supportive. Mass games, board games and barbecues help students form friendships and practice teamwork and leadership. Formal Dinners broaden students’ horizons through etiquette training and alumni sharing.

Learning in the dorm extends to school and family life. Habits formed — time management, responsibility, empathy, and respect — carry into the classroom and home, helping students grow into well-rounded individuals. The dormitory program will expand to more senior-form students upon completion of the new library and dormitory annex, further nurturing independent, compassionate young people.
