Philosophy and Rationale

Our initiatives bridge knowledge, skills, and values across subject boundaries, fostering students’ capacity to make meaningful connections within and beyond the classroom. Moving beyond traditional, isolated subject knowledge, we guide students to integrate ideas and approaches from different disciplines for deeper understanding and lifelong personal growth. The rationale for cross-curricular learning is to cultivate curiosity, independent thinking, and adaptability, while empowering students to tackle real-life challenges through collaboration.

Learning Experiences

Students engage in a diverse range of experiences including integrated projects and inquiry-based lessons in class, as well as interdisciplinary field trips, community engagement, and competitions outside class. These experiences provide authentic contexts for students to apply and refine their skills.

Essential 21st Century Skills

At the heart of our cross-curricular learning is the development of key 21^st century skills: creativity and innovation, entrepreneurship, communication, collaboration and negotiation, networking and relationship building, adaptability and flexibility, problem-solving, critical thinking and questioning, time and project management, and data literacy. These competencies equip students not just for academic success, but for lifelong learning and effective participation in a global society.
