Student Council – Helios

Helios comes from the Greek word for sun, symbolizing light, hope, and endless possibilities, just like the rising sun. We are dedicated to bringing lasting warmth to our campus, making every school day full of energy by offering a variety of activities and welfare services.

To let our students shine on our school campus, we will be holding exciting competitions, shows, and events, such as Roadshow, a dance competition, a 4×100 inter-class relay, and more. We hope that Helios can be the platform for students to express their talents to the fullest through these events. Furthermore, to boost students’ sense of belonging to the school and provide more opportunities to learn beyond books, activities like the KE Water Festival, KE Lunar New Year Fair, and a High Table Dinner will be hosted.

Moreover, Helios is aware of the different stages of secondary school that our fellow schoolmates face. With that in mind, we are going to introduce a 3-stage support system, providing support to freshmen students, Form 3-4 students facing subject choices, and HKDSE candidates with guidelines, interview information, and inter-school preparations.

With a great lineup of activities, welfare services, a secondary school life support system, updated school facilities, and collected students’ opinions, we hope that we can build a stronger bridge between students and the school. Most importantly, we truly hope that our students can shine brighter and go further, just like our slogan: “ To be the sun of the campus, to be where our students shine.”
